Expected employment in Brazil is the world's second largest
In the next quarter, 45% of Brazilian employers expect to expand the number of employees in their company, according to the Survey of Employment Expectations released today by Manpower. On the other hand, predict 6% reduction in the number of vacancies in the period, which gives an "expected net job" of 39%.
In 32 of the 41 countries surveyed, employers expect to increase their workforce over the next three months at different levels. The Brazilian employers, however, as well as those of India (44%), Taiwan (31%) and Peru (27%) are the most optimistic, with the "net employment expectations" higher. At the other end of the table, appear to "net employment expectations" negative Greece (-13%), Spain (-8%), Czech Republic (-4%) and Hungary (-3%).
In Brazil, the "expected net job" registered in the second quarter of 2012 is slightly higher than the expectations captured in the first quarter of the year (33%) and slightly lower than in the second quarter of 2011 (40 %).
The sectors with the "net employment expectations" largest in the country are services (55%), public education (46%) and construction (40%).
To Riccardo Barberis, CEO of Manpower Brazil, many employers are already recruiting professionals to fill key positions in the sectors of tourism, logistics and engineering to meet the demanas World Cup 2014, which would explain the numbers of research, beyond the "growth sustainable "service industries and construction.
Worldwide, more than 65,000 employers were interviewed. In Brazil, the sample gathered 850 people.
